A message from Principal Mitchell:

Greetings Primavera Panthers!

Welcome to 2019! I am excited to kick off the second half of the school year with each of you. I hope that you had your families had an opportunity to spend time together and create lasting memories during the holiday season.

As we enter into the first school week of 2019, I would like to challenge all Primavera Panthers to work on the courses with renewed focus, energy and dedication. I would like to see every student put forth their best efforts throughout this semester. To help you prepare for excellence, please look at the tips for success provided below.

TIPS FOR ACADEMIC SUCCESS

Tip 1: Create a daily schedule for yourself.

Try to do your schoolwork at the same time each day. Having a set routine helps you plan out your day much better.

Tip 2: Keep in contact with your teachers.

If you have any questions about your schoolwork, be sure to email or call your teachers right away. Your teachers are here to help you be successful.

Tip 3: I encourage you only to submit completed projects and discussion posts.

Submitting incomplete projects and discussion posts have the potential of bringing your overall grade down. By creating a schedule for yourself, as mentioned in Tip #1, you can plan your assignments in a way that prevents you from rushing and submitting incomplete assignments.

Tip 4: Be sure to work in your courses at least 5 days each week for at least 3 hours each day for each class you are assigned.

We have found that students who follow this tip have shown great progress in their courses.

Tip 5: Give it all you’ve got!

You have the potential to do great things!
