You may have heard that our sister company, StrongMind, creates coursework especially for the students at Primavera. But did you know that our content is so cool and interesting that it wins all kinds of awards?

Yep. That’s right. The latest honors come in the form of 22(!) Telly Awards. The organization has honored excellence in videos for nearly four decades with Silver (the highest honor) and Bronze Telly Awards.

The following seven videos from our Physical Science B and British Literature (English 12B) courses took home multiple awards, including five Silver and 17 Bronze Tellys.

Primavera’s Telly Award Winning Videos

“Communication in Science”

This fun and informative Physical Science B video explores how scientists communicate their work and discoveries and collaborate with other scientists in their field. It won an impressive four Tellys including a Silver in Education, a Silver in 3D Graphics/Animation, a Bronze in Graphics and a Bronze in Art Direction.

“Models in Science”

This cool video from Physical Science B shows how scientists create or explore existing models in order to understand the behavior of complex things and make useful predictions. It brought home a Bronze Telly in Education, a Bronze in Animation, a Bronze in Graphics and a Bronze in Art Direction.

“Motion – Isaac Newton’s First Law”

An endearing animated video that beautifully illustrates Newton’s first law of motion around inertia and force that famously states: an object in motion stays in motion. This Physical Science B won a Bronze Telly in Education and a Bronze in Music.

“Never Let Me Go”

Explore passivity and dystopia in this moving video from British Literature (English 12B). It won a whopping four Tellys including a Silver in Videography/Cinematography, a Bronze in Education, a Bronze in Directing and a Bronze in Editing.

“She Walks in Beauty”

Get lost in the beautiful poem by Lord Byron in this visual adaptation from British Literature (English 12B). It brought home a Bronze in Education, a Bronze in 3D Graphics/Animation, a Bronze in Art Direction and a Bronze in Graphics.

“Ozymandias”

Feel the intensity of this dramatic poem by Percy Shelley in a visual adaptation from British Literature (English 12B). It won a Silver Telly in Art Direction, a Bronze in Education, and a Bronze in Graphics.

“The Piano”

Enjoy an expressive visual adaptation of the much-loved poem by D.H. Lawrence from British Literature (English 12B). It earned a Silver Telly in Animation.

The prestigious Telly Awards have been around since 1979 and have lived through quite the evolution. Although we’re now in an era where television and video work is being created and enjoyed in countless new ways, their commitment to celebrating the very best of it remains the same.

In a little over a year, Primavera’s coursework from StrongMind has received an EdTech Cool Tool Award, five Regional Emmy® Awards, an SIIA CODiE Award, 29 Telly Awards and a Serious Play Competition Award.

The Real Reward

We’re proud that our hard work and dedication to providing the best coursework on the planet is paying off with some cool awards. However, the real reward is unlocking the magic of learning and inspiring our students to do their very best in school and in life.
