Primavera is an Arizona home-grown school founded nearly two decades ago. We are also Arizona’s largest high school, serving 20,000 students each school year.

Still, the most common question we receive is, “Is Primavera accredited?” Or “Will I get an actual diploma if I graduate with Primavera?” Your answer is below.

Is Primavera Accredited?

The answer is yes!

We are a legitimate public charter school. Our instructors are highly qualified and our coursework is aligned to state and national standards.

In other words, we are a real high school, we simply instruct our students online.

What is a Public Charter School?

If you attend the traditional high school within your neighborhood boundaries, you attend a public school.

A public charter school is very similar. They are tuition free and accredited just like a traditional school. Public charter schools are held to the same standards in student achievement. The difference, according to the Arizona Public Charter School Association is this:

“Charter schools are unique public schools that are allowed the freedom to be more innovative while being held accountable for advancing student achievement,” (Publiccharters.org).

Where Does Primavera Receive its Accreditation?

Primavera is accredited through AdvancED. This is an intensive evaluation of the school’s academic strategies and goals, improvements and instructionIn April 2015, Primavera’s accreditation was renewed for an additional five years.
